Resetting your Noritz Tankless Water Heater is simple. And the best part is- the two methods I described below will also work for other electric tankless water heaters as well. 

Method 1: Unplugging The Power Cord

If your Noritz water heater has a plug-and-play power up system, it will be just a piece of cake to reset the unit. Just remove the power cord from the electric outlet and wait 30 seconds. Then, plug the power cord into the outlet again. Now, turn on the water heater and it will reset the unit. 

Method 2: Flipping the Breaker Off 

You can also reset the tankless water heater by turning it off at the breaker. Just flip the water heater’s circuit breaker down to Off position. Wait 30 seconds and flip up the breaker to On. Now, press the On/off button on the unit and it will reset your Noritz Tankless Water Heater.

Here are some reasons that cause your Noritz Tankless Water Heater to not work properly:

• The water drain filter gets clogged by dirt and debris

It depends on multiple factors like the type of water heater and the tank size. If you have a gas-powered tank water heater, it will take only 30-40 minutes to get hot water. On the other hand, it should take 60-90 minutes if you have an electric water heater.
